The Separatists in
Spain's Catalonia won regional elections in 2012 but failed to get a
resounding mandate for a referendum on independence. What do you think about the wish to become independent in future? Is it just utopia or still in progress?

Hej! Thats a nice question! I think that the wish to become independent exists since many years, but this year it is especially high due to the economic crisis, which affects Spain very much.
ReplyDeleteAs I´m living here in Barcelona since more than 3 month, I talked also to a lot of the Catalonian people and I really understand them and their wish for being independent, but I think it will be very hard for them to become independent. From my point of view currently it is a progress to see, but in the near future I think that Catalonia won´t become independent so easily.
What do you think about this topic?
I fully agree with you! I can understand the wish to become independent but it won't be easy. Have a look at Julia's blog. She has a nice video about the conflict...
